SparkChambers is a tenant on my shared Swarmcore publishing engine. The publication keeps its own host, topic, voice, theme, locales, and SEO surface while sharing the Rails operations underneath.

Product evolution

The publication replaced the social concept

SparkChambers started as a broader social product. I dropped that direction and kept the part that had a clear purpose: focused adult education with a reference layer and an editorial layer.

What I learned

A narrower product can be the stronger one

Removing the social half made the purpose easier to explain and the content easier to trust.

Sensitive subjects need explicit editorial boundaries, not vague claims of authority.

Moving onto a shared engine let the publication keep its identity without keeping a separate application alive.
